Positive Day #1
J is coming home!! I'm trying to focus on the positive of him coming home and not that I'm annoyed that I thought he would be here by now, and not just leaving Mass. It should take about 3 hours for him to get home.
And he's leaving again on Tuesday :(
Here are the positives:
- He's coming home!
- He's going on another trip which means A) this trip was successful and B) he'll make more money! Whee! We can pay bills!
- I attempted making soda bread today, just the most basic recipe. Haven't tried it yet, but it doesn't look right. I think just trying something new is positive!
- My dogs are back to loving me and each other again (they're snuggled together next to me). They got in a fight a couple hours ago and were avoiding each other for awhile. (Bandit tried to steal Brooklyn's treat - not smart!)
I still feel like crap, but I spent all day resting and drinking OJ, so hopefully I'll get to enjoy my 2 days with J! And I'll have a real reason to call in sick tomorrow ;)
