My family often does a lot of things together on Sunday. They'll go out to brunch or a late lunch/early dinner, and usually I can't participate because I have to work. So I finally finally get a Sunday off, and both my brother and my sister are working today. It used to be the only day of the week my brother wasn't allowed to go lobstering, but since it's past summer, Sundays are fair game now. I never really understood the logic behind that law, but it's nice to have people around one day a week.
So I did at least get to have breakfast with my parents, sister, and brother in law, but the rest of the day has been spent moving more stuff to my new place. I moved this big rack all in one piece just to prove it could be done because my brother said I'd have to take it apart. It'll be nice when I finally get all of my stuff moved in so I can actually stay where I live and feel like I live there. So far it feels like I'm just house-sitting or having an extended slumber party.
And the dog is insane. She's a husky, 11 months old, and not well trained at all. She has so much energy she doesn't know what to do with herself. I think I'm going to start taking her for walks in the morning to try and expend some of that.
I have a job interview on Tuesday, and I'm not sure that I really want the job. It's a secretary at a law office, which could be cool if I got to be more like a legal aid, but I have a feeling it'll just be a lot of typing and tedious office work, and not fun and exciting things at all.
Ok, off to catch up on TV shows from last week.
