Doors closing
so I slid my palms across his
frame
and then we were
alone, him in the box
of me & he paused
his atoms bulbous-still
& then my weights whamed down my cables yanked up all of motion strained and
came
Up! Up! I lifted and we
Wooshed through the shaft a flying box
burst through time and space am I
going too fast I asked as he
jerked at every floor
(all his buttons were
done up you see but
this was solved quite
easily as my fingers
sashayed their way between,
below reading
round the stubble
bumps
and then pushed them all
at once
and my weights hung, cables tensed and loosed the lights shut
down right before we shot through the
roof
