Reading Festival- awesomeness in a field
Reading was fucking awesome.
Stayed at Kates for a pre-Reading party on tuesday night, ended up staying up 'til 4am making our "This is Ska" flag with a stick, some two-tone material left over from my skirrrrt and a blue marker pen. It was tres cool.
Then I slept on Kates floor, on a duvet folded in half. It hurt my back and neck :( BUT it was only for five hours anyway, so who cares?
Went to Barnifers [<3] the night after, on the bus, with lots of bags and a flag. That was fun, but I didn't really get to spend too much time with him, and I had to leave in the morning and he was barely up, so that was a bit of a weird night really.
Travelling to reading was fun fun fun!! I was on the bus with Sade and Kat, going to Hereford, and we had pro plus caffiene tablets because we were falling asleep, and then we caught the train with looooads of people from Builth, and it was exciting. It was really muddy getting to Reading, because of the rain and stuff, but I suppose it was ok really.
Sade and I shared a tent, which was excellent and lovely, and we had a campfire every night. I met some people, got given a piggy back by a random guy over a huuuuge puddle, had sing-alongs to disney songs, got painful feet, and allsorts of crazy stuff!
Jack dressed up in a monkey suit and went around the campsite, and went on a trampoline and gave lots of people hugs.
All the bands were great, my favourites were Flogging Molly, Reel Big Fish (but I nearly died), Dropkick Murphys, Green Day (wowowowowowowowwwww!), Goldfinger, White Stripes (although Jack was a bit boring :s), Bouncing Souls and stuff!
50 Cent got bottled off!! "Your mother's got a penis"! <3
Yeah, I had a great time, but I need food.
