there's much to say yet nothing of consequence, but know that i've had this playing all day:

easily overanalyzed but when it comes down to it, i like the way it sounds. there are numerous analogies in there somewhere.
i've downloaded/installed/started playing with composition/notation software on this bastard machine. you have been warned, chirping cricket audience. the process is tedious. there has to be a better way. after all, they were writing string quartets before there was electricity!
