berkeley is frustrating. on the heels of the closure of one of the last theatres that plays indie/artsy films -- act I and II -- comes another loss.

i only saw what they had done to fine arts couple weeks ago. Tragic. Maybe it's my fault for not having paid any movie theater for many years. Maybe it was inevitable.

ok, so y u blaming kennedy. I don't think repertory theater is really sustainable in the age of netflix and greencine. It's like vinyl.

because he's convenient, really. panoramic is pretty sketchy if you look up their history with the city of berkeley.
it can be sustainable -- they still exist. i don't think business of any sort is very sustainable in downtown berkeley.
