choir camp, MORMON 101, and i'm bleeding from the ears.. literally
Choir Camp, MORMON 101, & "i'm bleeding from the ears here!!"
yeah so this has been a crazy weekend, and quite superb..
on thursday choir camp started.. the theme was folk music and we had these guys came in and we sang songs on the banjo, guitars and other random things.. the thing i loved the most about it was that they showed us a really simple melody and we all made amazing harmonies to it, whatever we wanted (this would be called improvising).. so like 60 kids doing anythign they wanted.. it sounded fantastic ..
thursday night was the pool party, and i dove really quick in the deep end and my ears have been hurting ever since.. i thought it was swimmers ear, but i went to the doctor today, and i have a "middle ear infection" which is when pus is building up behind my eardrum.. cute huh? so like dane cook.. i'm not bleeding from the ears.. i'm pusing from the ears?? sure... so i cannot hear very well.. bear with me
friday.. more camping and what not.. learned a chorale dance.. wow i don't think i could be able to sing and dance like that.. yay symphonic... mm that night we watched "once upon a matress" and then played cards and had a sweet party in the dance room..
that night tiffany, nicole and i had a discussion about mormons.. nicole told us all aobut it and what they believe and how it differs to the catholics.. and they're gonna take over the world one day.. "you already have a whole state!" yay tiff....
so i learned about the 3 kingdoms and that the celestial one is the best.. and their bishop is like our priest.. and other things... i was very interested haha... i basically know what they are now.. so we were up till like 4 30 discussing it.. she wants us to go to seminary sometime.. i think my mom would freak out haha..... i got a book of mormon today and i might just read it.
so today was the last day :(.. came home and slept and then we had our concert, which was a lot of fun....then i hung out with mj and we went to the coffee shop, and then brenden nat and i hung out at nat's and watched movies and played "snaps" and the cup game.. but we used pill bottles cause there were no cups.. is that slightly sad that i have three pill bottles in my purse??
so that has been what's going on with me... i feel like i have ear plugs in, so it's kinda crappy.... mm yes.. it was fun and i love choir :)
