(no subject)
So Saturday I was supposed to go down to Mom's with Joey to eat steamed crabs with Mom and Steph and Billy. Well we got there and it turned out it was actually a suprise bridal shower for me. Apparently Steph and Mom have been plotting behind my back for 3 months. I was very very nice, and a TOTAL supirse. Once I got over the suprise they quickly assured me the steamed crabs would be later (since they'd be talking them up to me for a MONTH, they figured I might hurt someone if they didn't actually have them, good planning). So we got to play some fun games, and I got to see some people I haven't seen in awhile, and Adrienne explained that she was avoiding me to avoid spilling the beans and she doesn't hate me, and we got some nice things off of our registries. All in all it was a great time, and I'm thrilled. I wasn't expecting a shower since we're not exactly having a 'real' wedding so this was very very special. So thanks to everyone who was in on the secret, and for not giving it away. And a very very very big thank you to Steph, who went through 3 months of secret hell, not being able to talk to me about it.
