(no subject)
Well, after canceling my unnecessary landline plan, paying off a good chunk of both of my credit cards, washing all of our dirty dishes, cleaning the bathroom, and taking out the recycling and trash, I feel a little more in control of my life.
Now I'm off to get voter registration forms, do some homework, and go grocery shopping. Getting in control of the little things makes the big things seem less big.
P.S. The reason I'm home is that it's Rosh Hashanah! Happy New Year!
P.P.S. Did I ever update y'all that I'm temporarily teaching in a 5th grade GenEd classroom in the North Bronx? So far, it's been a great learning experience, and we've been doing ballroom dancing twice a week! So far, I've learned the merengue, the foxtrot, and the rumba!
