finally finally finally finally got a job :D
Yay to Australia!
I had been *searching* for a part time job pretty seriously over the past month....I probably applied to at least two jobs every day (through an online site), as well as dropped off resumes at shops and stuff.
I went to two interviews and didn't get a call back, and the situation was beginning to seem hopeless! I had never experience trouble finding work before!
But I scored a sweet position at this store called "Bagz 2 Richez" in an outlet shopping centre which is only a 10 minute bus ride from Uni. We have to wear all black, and there is such a FUN environment in the store because we blare loud music all day long. We sell handbags, wallets, belts, some luggage, shoes and accssories. It is a pretty tiny store full of stuff stuff stuff!
How much do I love wages here in Australia!!??!! I make nineteen effing dollars an hour! wow! And on Sundays you get time and a half because I guess they don't like working Sundays!
I feel SO much better about my financial situation now, because I was worried about spending too much of my OSAP loan that will be needed for semester 2 tuition.
