Alright... I just looked at the jewelry you have posted on etsy and I want the better late than never watch! Will you put it to the side for me and I will buy it next week?! I so want this! :)

Zoos and such: When we lived in metroDetroit, we had a family membership at the Detroit Zoo. Which zoo was not even in Detroit, but between Royal Oak and Huntington Woods, about two miles north of Detroit proper. ANYWAY, we lived in Huntington Woods (and later Royal Oak) and many Saturdays that I had to work at the pharmacy, Mark would take the girls to the zoo. We lived so close we could hear the larger animals, should they feel exuberant. ;-) And most summer evenings we could hear the peacocks shouting at each other. Really, if you used your imagination, they sounded like fans at a baseball game. Really. ;-)

Hog Roasts: Funny, a neighbor had one Saturday night. A private affair, we weren't on the invitation list, but I found out about it when I drove past their place on my way to Vespers. My clue: An actual hog's head on a stake, planted at the end of their drive. Talk about a doubletake! Yikes!

Jewelry: I like your new stuff, especially the first item with the green stones. Yes. :-)

Heh, I could see peacocks sounding like baseball fans. My aunt had some on her farm as I was growing up and man were they a noisy lot!

Heh, the head of this one at least was AWOL. Not sure if they had to cut it off or if it came that way.

Thanks! I made those around St. Patrick's Day. ;) Speaking of green, I'm fighting the urge to keep the Forest Floor necklace. It just sits so nicely on me. But I don't really wear enough jewelry to justify it (oddly enough) and I could always make something similar.
