Last weekend: the ultra shorthand version

Fri: Spent much of the day cleaning followed by a whirlwind packing session shortly before Chris got off work. Drove down to Huntsville (or rather New Hope) to stay in a tent in a guy's back yard. Stayed up waaaay too late drinking beer. Celebrated ingenuity, heh ( Read more... )

*sigh* wish my weekends were something to look forward to... I usually dread them since I spend almost the entire 2 1/2 days alone........ I've got a few projects that are keeping me busy, but other than that, nadda. I think we may get to go see Cake Friday night, but Michael works the rest of the weekend, just like every weekend. Um... and the fact that everyone and their mamma and their mamma's mamma and their mamma's mamma's mamma and, well you get the point, goes to every festival or other type of thing going on... We were going to go to a simulcast of Tosca last weekend, but decided we wanted to see Up instead... Glad we did, 27,000 other people decided going to see Tosca was a good idea too. Makes it very difficult to do anything.

It seems as though there hasn't been a free weekend since Easter. It's fun for a while but eventually you crave a weekend where you can just sit around and do whatever. Maybe that's what Chris will want to do for Father's Day.

Cake FTW!

Alright, FTW? I've looked it up, but in my mind, the answers it gives for the meaning, makes no sense to me...

I very rarely abbreviate anything... I don't like it. I just prefer to type it all out.

Hopefully we will actually get to see and hear them, unlike last summer when we went to Outside lands. Unless you were close you couldn't even tell who was on stage...
