Gardening in November. . . after all, it's Tennessee!

So, last weekend, with Chris' help, we got out and finished planting pansies and aster in the front bed, pulled up all the sensitive bulbs and dead annuals that were hit with frost in the past couple of weeks. Then we mulched everything up there really well. I still have yet to clean out, cut back and mulch the back bed under the dining room ( Read more... )

i really need to get out and get some stuff that i'd like to do taken care of. i think i'm going to sparta the weekend before thanksgiving, so i may be able to get some old daffodil bulbs, and i'll probably try and get another piece of the rose that wants to take over the world. may try and gather more vinca minor, too, since it's all over the woods adjacent to the garden.

oh yeah, speaking of seeds, seed savers exchange has lots of heirloom stuff, and now that i think about it, i think i've mentioned them before.
