Helloooo i cant hear you!!!
I think it is time for another update. I know last time I whinged about the eye and ear hospital, well I guess this rant will also refer to this wonderful *note sarcasm* eye and ear hospital.
I had to return there on Tuesday for what I thought was a hearing test. No.. infact it was a check up type thing. He did this weird stuff to me including heating up this mirror (like the one dentists use) on a flame, touching it on his hand then putting it on the back of my tongue. It was a little weird. He gave me a recipe for this lovely hypertonic solution I am to make to squirt up my nose…. 8 - 9 times each nostril a few times a day. This is to irrigate my ears. YAY how lovely. Apparently it is 2 times what normal sea water will be like. Needless to say I haven’t really attempted this yet. I am due to go back in October on 2 separate days (and parking is very expensive) so we will see what happens then. Apparently I have kinks in the tubes in my ears. Shrugs.
I am quite shitty, missed out on Geelong V Collingwood tickets. I tried from 8:55am to do the whole log in early thing, but seriously ticket master or tickettek whoever had a meltdown. When I finally got through after pressing refresh and entered smash’s mcc barcode, pressed continue it said this event can not be found…. I was confused so clicked on the ticket master website and lost my spot, this happened 2 times and I couldn’t get back in. Called ash and he called the members hotline and yep all sold out. Seriously I am shattered.
Adam was down on the weekend. I love hanging out with that boy. It has been since April 2003 we hung out. He can be a little bit of a space cadet at times and in some ways we are sooo totally different, but its just awesome to have someone like that as ya mate. He did kick my arse on the Wii, except the puzzle games, he also kicked my arse at mini golf. Bah. We went to the Hawthorn V Kangas game cause Adam hadn’t been to the MCG. Let me tell you, even Kangas MCC members are wak, as are Hawthorn. It was quite amusing actually.
Went and saw Greg last night which was awesome. Haven’t really hung out with Greg for a while but I still love his guts. He also gave me a great massage… thank you Greg! Seriously I should hang out with that boy more often. (an no not just for free massages!)
Smashy is good, for those of you who are playing at home. I think the working 12 hour days is catching up with him though. I think he is enjoying his work, providing challenges and earning some mooooolah which is good. Hopefully this is the next stage in his Geek career. On October the 6th we will have been together for 4 years which I sometimes still cant believe. We have done a lot and seen a lot in that time. I was wanting to go to Mizu for that date, but we have an engagement so I’m not sure. (then again we could go to goldfingers mwhahahah!)
Nothing much else is happening really. Working, loving Cinder, hanging out for Grand Final day so I can watch some footy and see the Dora Mah family. It seems ages since we last hung out. Hah. And also counting the days till Kel flies back to Aus for a holiday.
Anyway time for a meeting. I hate that facebook and myspace is blocked at work. I haven’t checked it in AGES!!!
