EARTHQUAKE!!!!!! oh it's just the guy sawing away at the existing window

YAY for new windows FINALLY! After I can't remember how many weeks to get the windows ordered and shipped to where ever it had to and today they are finally here! Ok, kinda miffed that Matt had to go into work today for some new project thing that they're rushing on and working overtime on, and this is on top of taking Selene into the dealership to fix the "airbag" light.  So we looked online and the airbag light indicates its any of the airbags or the seatbelt arrestors that trigger in a front end collision. Oh, so I guess I need to get it looked at. So we drop off the car, I drop Matt off at work and go to Shop Rite since the windows guy called Matt to say they'll be here around 11am. Super, so I wander the isles of Shop Rite drinking my DD coffee (whoever put the DD in Shop Rite is a GOD) and eventually got home at 9:30 to find the windows crew hanging out waiting for me. Ok... well not that big of a deal since they started 2 hours earlier than we were anticipating.

So now I'm sitting in the study, the last remaining room that still has windows and a temperature above 50F.  It's only  60 something in here but I'll take  it.  The 3 guys are banging away, sawing out the frames, dropping stuff... well at least it's not shaking the house like when the roofers were here and I swear I thought the building would fall down.  So it is definately cold in here without windows and the wind is just blowing through, oh boy cross breeze LOL.  And of course Matt's at work missing all the excitement (like when the roofers reshingled).

Damn my nose is cold! And I'm taking pictures, ok partly in case something happens but mainly for Matt's curiosity. Oh, and the funny part is our retired neighbors are nosy... so everyone was out "walking the dog" very very slowly so they can look at the progress of the guys, LOL.

And the Verizon guys are FINALLY laying the lines for FIOS this week, they're on the court today along with a couple PSEG gas guys, and my window guys... busy day on Washington Court :-)

ok my fingers are starting to hurt cuz i'm so cold,  maybe I'll figure  out how to post pics.
