Jury Duty
Today I did my civic duty by going to jury duty. At 5:45 AM, i woke up and got ready. At 6:30, went to the metro and got to the courthouse before 7 AM. When I checked in they gave me a ghetto looking badge, I got my clip and satdown. They played this video about the history of dade counties courthouses or something like that. I wasn't paying attention. You were supposed to be there by 8 but they didn't start telling us the procedures till about 9. We got sworn in and I signed a compensation paper to get my $15 for jury duty. While waiting to be called, Bruce Almighty was shown, followed by the teminal. My name was never called. Around 2:45 we were dismissed for the day. It felt like going to school wheneveryone has FCAT and you don't. Luckily I shouldn't be called for another year.
