What did we do without google? I mean there was lycos and yahoo, but still...

Well my classes were very uneventful today, but the rest of the day was fairly eventful. I signed a lease for my apt. next year, which is exciting. It is a reasonable price and super close!! 503 Elm if you want to visit. I'm so close to the CCRB (my home basically) that I'm really happy. No more need to bus everywhere!! :) But I forgot my checkbook (OOPS) so my roommate had to pick up the whole tab and now I owe her big bucks, but I just wrote her the check and transferred the cash so its all good. I find it amusing that I'm signing the lease and I go, "I guess I should tell my mom" She talks to her mom about 5 times a day, so she probably cannot understand how I talk to my mom like once a week if something comes up. I mean what is my mom going to do about it? She told her mom about all the different places and trying to rectify the fact that we dont want to live in the place that is $155 cheaper because she "didn't like the layout" and the tennant now has a cat and a dog and the smell will still be there when we would move in. I think its more like, she completely refuses to share a room, but in a passive way. Well, whatever, I'm fine with the 2 bedroom place, they are all the same to me, just different prices and locations.

On a funny note:
Today I'm wearing a long sleeve t-shirt from "Global Soccer Tournament 2003" and I was on the bus and this guy was wearing the EXACT same shirt. Now first of all this is amusing on many levels. 1. How many other people have that same t-shirt? probably not many. 2. How many people at U of M have that same shirt? Probably fewer. 3. How many people were wearing that shirt today? Well at least two. 4. How many people don't zip up there coats when its completely freezing outside so I could notice that we were wearing the exact same shirt?? At least one! Ok I'm amused!
