Chi-town here I come
Yeah so I'm going to Chicago today (after class and work--like 3pm) for the Northwestern game. I'm kind of excited. My first college road trip. yipee. But you know what I realized, I don't have a hooded Michigan sweatshirt. I guess it doesnt really matter because I'm bringing a winter coat, but my mom doesnt really like hooded sweatshirts, so all of my Michigan sweatshirts are not hooded (since she bought them all for me for Christmas or whatnot).
we were going to try to get tickets to see Wicked tonight, but they are all sold out. Gosh, why did it have to be opening weekend during the football game. But really, I bet it will be sold out most of the time no matter the weekend, but its just not very plausible to get tickets to the first friday night when you are looking the day before that. SO instead we got Red Wings tickets for next week. all of a sudden I became really social and have stuff to do every night (pretty much). and now i'm just thinking about planning my day to fit all my hw into it. I really don't know how people party all the time, i have too much stuff to do for that. I like to just chill, but we'll see how the social thing goes with hockey and people and more hockey. i'm so glad hockey's back. :)
ohhhh! and yesturday, we watched the best movie! its called "Some Like it Hot" with Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curis, and Jack Lemmon. (1959). it was really funny and predictable, but great physical comedy! there were some good lines but the best is when Jack Lemmon goes "Osgood, I'm a man." and then Osgood says, "Well, nobody's perfect." hehe. it was really funny. seriously go watch it. My new thing is watching old movies because even though they don't have the special effects like today, they're pretty darn good.
