Technically, I knew you for around 3 days but knowing that I'd probably never see you again, I felt this nagging urge to turn to writing instead. You were nothing but admirable. Your headstrong character that refused to show any signs of pain or discomfort, your sarcasm and nonchalance which I suspect are ways of concealing your worries, and how you never fail to offer a smile whenever we caught each other stealing glances.
I'm sorry life turned out that way for you, and I hope and pray for nothing less than the greatest health and that you'll be able to go home soon, just like you've expressed. Most importantly, thank you for teaching me that persistence can go a long way, and that in some sense, you hurt a lot less.
