Now *that* is how a weekend should be done
Friday: Had my test (which went well) and had another bit of bloodwork done. Th'Boy went to a Youth Conference and I had work and a Pity Party to go to. The party was for fagstein whose contract had ended. Many Gazette people were there and we wound up closing the bar (or almost) and went for breakfast afterwards. Got home at 4am, had a nap and then dragged myself to the Church for a pizza party at 11:30am. Sultry's article about our Charleston trip finally made it into the paper.
Saturday: napped after the pizza and then Sultry and I went to see The Daily Miracle written by a former Gazette person. One of the actors was the voice of Mr. Ratburn (from Arthur) and hearing him swear was ... jarring. We went with a bunch of the same guys we'd been at the bar with the night before. After the play we went for drinks to a place chosen by the playwright. *Not* a place any of us would have gone to normally and much too hip for the likes of us.
Sunday: spent most of the day watching Millennium and trying to get Poser to work. Boy came home HYPER but I think he's crashed now.
Other hi and lo-lights: my Wilderness 1st Aid class is really happening. Our Spring Break trip most likely is not. Sultry probably has to work. I'm considering having Th'Boy meet me in Toronto but that would depend on if we can find crash space or not.
A very good weekend, it was pretty sweet having the house to ourselves. Sultry's at work now and if Th'Boy really is sleeping I'm going to take a bath with the Dresden Files and hope I don't drop my iPod.
