We've given Th'Princess a total of about $55 for schoolbooks.  She claims to have bought two books.  There are no receipts and I have not seen the books.  This weekend we were tight so I asked her if there was money left and she said yes.  I was pretty sure she was lying so I told her that that she could use that money to buy her bus pass and I'd give her more when she was ready to buy the next book.

Why yes, I am evil.
