(no subject)
I've just got home from work to find that Steve is "entertaining". He's in the lounge watching a movie with someone, and I'm pretty sure it is a chick (it is dark in there, and I couldn't see without staring, plus I was so shocked to find someone over that I didn't have a chance to check out the situation properly). I wonder what is going on! I have kind of just retreated to my room, where I guess i'll have to stay for the rest of the night. hmm .. very strange!
As I said i've just been at work, with the Bledisloe Cup on today. Actually, I don't even know what the final score was, which I know sounds strange given I was just there but I didn't manage to really see any of the game. It all went off fairly well, with just a few issues here and there.
Last night I managed to score tickets for the Jamm for Genes benefit concert on at the State Theatre. The lineup included Thirsty Merc, Dave McCormack and MGF. It was very surreal being in an old heritage theatre watching the exploits of a band such as MGF, but it was definitely a nice change to be able to sit down, rather than the usual pushing and shoving of a pub gig. Dave McCormack is a bit of a charmer and always pleasant to watch live :) It was disappointing there were more people there as it was a charity performance, but everyone who was there seemed to have a good time.
Tomorrow I'm hoping for a bit of a sleep in, then will try and catch up with Adam in the afternoon before heading over to the Pete Murray gig. I haven't seen Adam in ages (not since the incident whereby I told him that we couldn't go out on a date .. then he denied ever asking me although it was obvious that is what he meant) so it should be interesting :) I might suggest we head down towards the rocks and have a few drinks.
