(no subject)
The Glen Street thief has struck again. During the time I have been here I have had stolen from me:
1 x Ticketek polo shirt
1 x my favourite black shirt
(both of which were taken from the washing line)
2 x pre wash spray thingies (preen) in separate incidents
and finally today was the last straw. I have just walked through the laundry downstairs on my way up on the unit to find that this time, my washing liquid has been stolen!!! Unbelievable!!
Now I know all this may seem like an over reaction coming from someone who has had her car broken into on 4 different occasions, however I am sick of people stealing things from me. Can't people buy their own washing liquid?? And why steal one black shirt from the washing line when you could have taken the entire load? These are the questions that remain unanswered.
On a brighter note, my week hasn't all been that of a victim of crime.
Work has been busy, however come the end of the day today, I managed to get everything I had to done which was a relief.
On Monday night I went to the preview of "Garden State" at the Dendy Newtown. I won tickets through the MMM Freq Club [yay for the freq club, since I last mentioned it I have won 2 more Cd's plus these movie tickets. I however have not seen the before mentioned Cd's, hmm, perhaps they were stolen as well?]
Tonight I attempted to go into the city to meet Adam for dinner. Note to self: it is NOT a good idea to try and drive into the city and find a park at the rocks on a friday night. Not only did it take me over an hour to get from my place to the city (12 km's), but I couldn't find a park anywhere and even if I had been able to, there was an over 1 hour queue to get into Pancakes. I ended up just picking Adam up, tried to make my way out of the city as quickly as possible and we went to a bar in Chatswood for dinner. We then went back to his place and watched a movie.
Final news for the week I guess is that my passport arrived. Or at least so I am told, because as I am still living a secret life here in Sydney, I had it delivered to Beenleigh. Next expense will be my UK Visa which will cost me $286, however it is a once off fee for the rest of my life so I guess that is okay.
I've just realised it is 1:15am so I think i'll head to bed.
