I got the results of my latest MRI. The brain tumor is changing in size and shape, but at this point there is no reason to believe that is a bad thing. It's still a benign lipoma (fat cells that aren't supposed to be there but are for some reason). Also, they found a smaller area of the same exact type of tumor in a different area. No one really knows what to do about it, if anything at this point. I pass all the neurological exams so except for the vicious migraines I am "normal". (What ever that is.) I go back in six months so they can do another MRI to see if the areas are still changing and if they are interfering with any other areas. In the mean time, everything is still the same. I get horrible headaches that are difficult to control but other than that, nothing.
Oh yeah, my husband cleverly declared that since the tumors are fat cells, then that officially makes me a fat head. Thanks, babe. ;-)
