I didn't pay much attention to the MV until after I bought their album. Now that the song is familiar to me, I can focus on the video. A lot of what I think here was prolly influenced by Simon and Martina, since I watched their "Kpop music mondays" episode about it.
GD is lost in a huge hotel. This could be a metaphor for him being lost in life, in a place where it's only a temporary home and not a permanent place to live. There's also shots of him in a sunset, suggesting that night is coming; and with the night, sin.
The girl cheated on Daesung with TOP. Daesung is delirious with grief and emotion, sweating and hallucinating in a hotel room, and while driving in a desert. He drives mindlessly, searching for his sanity in the desolate sandy wasteland. He seems paranoid as he looks through the blinds in the hotel window. Is he looking for someone to come? Is he being chased?
TOP seems to have slept with her on impulse; they were drinking and it's Vegas. He feels guilt over doing this to Daesung but went back with her anyway. The hotel room Daesung is going insane in might be in proximity to the room where TOP and the girl just fucked, giving Daesung the pleasure of hearing the bed hitting the wall.
Seungri is on a beach. He doesn't have much of a role in thie MV. The girls also shows up on the beach, maybe suggesting she doesn't mind sleeping around. I heard somewhere that cutting to a scene of waves crashing ashore is film language for "someone's gettin lucky."
Taeyang is looking for Daesung. He probably wants to be there for his obviously distressed friend. Daesung must have been looking for Taeyang when he looked through the blinds.
Group shots are in a carnival, representing fun, indulgence, and cheap thrills; on a hotel roof, representing glitz and danger; and in the desert, representing desolation, emptiness, and death.
The video was shot in Las Vegas, the place associated with indulgence, glitz, glamour, and fun -- but no one stays, it was just for a vacation. Temporary, like staying at the hotel GD is lost in. And what happens in Vegas stays there.
