so yeah, cappies
cappies was sooooo different this year.
this was my 3rd year at Cappies and as nice as it is just to sit back and watch everyone light up the stage, well lighting it up is just that much better.
The Kennedy Center is so beautiful.
I could end the entry there but I have to give some recognition to St. Albans.
Holy Helen of Troy.
I dunno what it is about Les Mis, but that musical has the ability to put me in this mesmorizing awe. Les Mis is the definition of musical theatre. Honestly, I had chills the whole time they were performing and teared up a bit at the end. and when they held that last note, all I could think was "That is how it should be done" and I was proud of high school theatre. :)
I'm so happy they won best musical.
I will do that musical someday. I will.
Other than that, everyone was so awesome! I had a good time. But, next year, lets dominate like we know we can.
