Today I drove out to gameworks in schaumburg to meet up with my friend kevin who I haven't seen since he left for basic training in the army after intercity last year. It was really good to see him and to catch up. As it was as well with janel, laura, and sam who also attended. I wish that dude the best of luck in the future.
In other news, the old x-men cartoon series (yeah! the one from the 90's) finally came out on DVD. This is crucial. I had been waiting for ages for this thing to come out. Luckily, while shopping with nikki for supplies for her new room, i stumbled upon the first 2 seasons while we were at wal-mart. Finally picked them up and let me just say, perfection.
Besides that, life is marvel-lous. Many things to look forward to. My bestfriend justin's mysterious return back to the midwest some time in the near weeks. Stoked beyond belief. Planning quite a few roadtrips with some close friends in the summer. I'm very excited.
Hotel ahead is playing this friday at beat kitchen with the graduate AND mojoes on saturday night. Roll out and come hang.
