So right now is the end of the beginning of the end of my summer. Today I bought my NUS card, my society memberships for this year and a TV license. It's all getting very pricey, and very lucrative for everyone else.
NUS card - £10
MusicSoc Membership - £5
Gravity Vomit Membership - £4
PhySoc Membership - £4
Fencing Club Membership - £15 (+ £10 SA Membership)
Real Ale Society Membership - £4
Vomiting into my wallet - priceless
All of this on top of £285 rent, £135.50 TV license, £70 tuition not included in my loan for some reason. My bank account is taking a battering which I imagine will only get worse when I come back to Maidstone as often as possible to see her.
Checking my timetable this morning I found out that I start Thursdaies and Fridaies (fuck off) at 8.15 am which would be irritating enough without living a hefty travel across town. This idea is what gives me the image of walking down the hill into town at 7am with a big collared coat, satchel, sunglasses and the occasional fag.
This brings me to my next point; coats. I'm going to get one on Thursday. (More money)
Summer 2007 has been one of my best. Great job, great friends and the girl that made it all what it was. I really can't stand to leave her here so I'm left being dragged limply down a platform with her bound to the distancing end. Metaphorically of course.
But still I am not depressed, I plan to strive into the new year with a thirst for knowledge and success with inappropriate sides of literature and plain paper.
