technologically challenged person here.
For the past while, my family has set a limit on spending for birthdays and Christmas. The limit is usually $10 per person, or something handmade. It's smart, and thoughtful.
I'm hurtin' a little though, and really want a camera. I've suggested that if everyone pitched in a few dollars of their gift money, they could all get me one, together.
I'm not a photographer. I'd just like to be able to take decent pictures of the city I now live in, my friends and family, the cakes I make, etc.
Anyone have any advice on what's the best camera for me?
