and we all make mistakes once in a while
I've been back in the real world for a solid week now, and sometimes it feels just as strange as when I was in Michigan. Sometimes I feel like things are just the way I left them, as if I never left, but sometimes everything seems unfamiliar. I can't quite remember how to shop for groceries and cook for myself, or how to get certain places, for example.
Work is as shite as ever. I don't think I'll ever get used to the 5am schedule, no matter how long I do this job. Matters being made worse: we were told this morning that we won't be working AT ALL next week, as the Central building is being re-roofed and apparently the building must be empty during our hours. And, of course, we can't work during the normal day so as not to disturb patrons. Also we aren't working on the 25th and 26th of this month. MEANING, I won't earn enough to even cover rent next month! Good thing I took out much, much more student loan money than I thought I'd need. It's debt, but at least it's there, aye?
