I live on the fence haha.

I eat grits with butter and sugar. girl I dated that was from florida said this is not the proper suhthun way.... apparently butter and pepper is.

but wtf, florida is not really in the south... I think they came over from some other country

ok you know what. I don't care if I'm considered southern or not even though Tennessee is, and my accent certainly is. By God, I'm eating my grits with butter and sugar!

agreed. Florida does NOT count as truly suhthun, I've lived there, ah know.

Jogglin' boards are awesome, I remember the grown ups making you SIT on them and bounce--then when they would go back inside, we'd all stand up and jump towards the moon. Ah, nostalgia. I will have one of these again someday.

Cheese is pretty tasty on grits. My great grandmother from Tennessee used to put butter and sugar on hers, I too like it this way. Some people like an immense amount of ketchup on theirs, I say that it is disturbing.
