Portrait of Pirates - Sanji Strong Edition

First Portrait of Pirates (POP) figure get!
I present to you...Sanji!

I want to understand why the POP series are the most highly collectible figures in the world of One Piece collecting, so I decided to buy one. Since they tend to be pricey (not complaining - pretty sure they are well worth it) I chose a fairly common, non-DX POP, and the one I feel resemble the character the most.

Freshly opened from the package. The amount of protective plastic made me speechless at first, haha.

The chains are fairly fragile so thank goodness for the plastic that gives adequate protection.
The wrinkles of the coat and polka dot shirt have a lively and realistic feel.

Each leg has its own protection. That's very thoughtful of the company!

Wood carvings and the green jewel details on the flintlock pistol. Two cigarettes in case one is lost. (I almost lost one of them! D:)

What appears to be a cavity in his teeth is actually a slot to put his cigarette in.
The details of his face...ahh, perfect! Curly eyebrows, check! A liiiitle bit of beard, check!
I think I can see his left eye under the hair too - such details!!

Probably not the most flattering picture so I'll try another photoshoot next time. ^^;;

Would I buy another POP?
I'm extremely picky with how most POPs look like, but I'm sure there'll be another POP that will win my heart <3
They take up so much space too, so I would probably limit the amount I will buy in the future.
