I'm truly shocked I had never heard Mahler's 6th before now... the horn parts are incredible and it is an amazing, dramatic work. True masterpiece.

Duuuuuuh... you totally need to bust out the Mahler more.

I think I have No. 1, No. 4 and maybe No. 5. That's it though. This changes my outlook though, especially with the hi-def sound it makes it so worth sitting down for 60-70 minutes to hear it all. :)

I got down with Mahler a few years ago-- a friend of mine burned CDs of multiple symphony recordings. I maintain that 7 is my favorite.

I've totally fallen in love with SA-CD... I won't be surprised if I own all Mahler symphonies in this format one day.
