Well...it's here. The results from the
St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra. I GOT IN! But, what was an even bigger shock was my chair placement.

Can you FUCKIN' BELIEVE THAT! I go from not making the cut last year to THAT! I jumped, screamed, and cried all at the same time. I couldn't believe it. This has been on of the best days of my life. Whatever anyone tells you...practice DOES make perfect because I am offical living proof.
So this semester, this is what I have in front of me to complete:
- Principal Cello - Southern Illinois University Edwardsville
- Asst. Principal Cello - St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra
- Junior Recital
- Graduate Piano Trio (Beethoven - Trio #5 "Ghost" in D major)
- Cello in SIUE Wind Symphony
- ASTA String Competition (I have to learn a required piece for that competition -Haydn/Piatigorsky - Divertimento in D major)
- Belleville Philharmonic Concerto Competition
- SIUE Concerto/Aria Competition
- St. Louis Symphony Concerto Competition (since I'm now eligible)
- Other classes @ SIUE (Music Ed 301a - General Elem. Music; Analysis)
I have a lot on my plate, but I know I can do it. It's something I love doing and I sooooo proud. Good Job Bruce *pats on back*
