Some things never changed. Sylar either killed or hunted during the day, and then screwed around with the Bennett boy's emotions at night. Sylar was enjoying life, it was simple, it could be planned out in advance and then executed properly. His targets lived their lives by the book, and they did the same thing every day, it was like watching the Truman show, without liking Truman.

The boy was just as predictable. When Sylar would appear, the boy would stop whatever he was doing, and do whatever Sylar said. If Sylar said that the boy should touch himself, then the boy would touch himself. If Sylar told the boy to jump up and down, the boy would probably jump up and down. The boy would do whatever Sylar said, no matter how ridiculous, and Sylar loved that power, loved being in control.

Tonight would be no different, Sylar would go to Lyle, treat Lyle with care, acting like the boy meant more to him than he really did. He would tell Lyle about what he would do to him in front of the rest of his family, and Lyle would act like a whore, thinking about Sylar touching him. Sylar had ruined the boy, had driven him crazy with Lust, and Sylar was enjoying every minute of it.

Sylar had entered Lyle's room the same way he always did, this time though, he stayed silent and just watched as Lyle sat on his bed, playing with his gaming device while looking towards the window every few seconds. If Sylar wasn't use to hiding in the shadows, he would have been spotted when he originally came in.

Lyle finally put down his game and looked at his clock. 12:20 Sylar was usually there by midnight, Lyle wondered if he would use the same excuse as last time. Lyle sighed, "Man, I've got to get a grip. Sylar doesn't care, so of course he isn't going to be here on time, he doesn't care about you, no matter how many times he runs his hand over or through your hair. He doesn't care, he's just helping you get back at your family for ignoring you, just helping you to be happy. Great, Sylar doesn't care about me, and I'm talking to myself. I'm going crazy."

Sylar walked out of the shadows, "Why Lyle, you don't think I care about you? I'm hurt."

Lyle jumped, "Shit, that's not it, it's just, I'm, I." Lyle didn't know what to say.

"Oh Lyle, I try so hard to let you know I care about you." Sylar pulled Lyle against his chest, Lyle quickly relaxed and wrapped his arms around Sylar. Sylar smiled, the boy could be tricked so easy, it was simple, predictable. "Tell you what, to prove it, we'll just stand here, in each others arms. Would you like that?"

Lyle nodded, trying to get closer to Sylar.

Sylar's smile darkened, manipulating this boy was just way too easy.
