-Tell My Father from the Musical: Civil War
Dean didn't dream anymore. Dean didn't have nightmares anymore. Dean just slept, and only thought of emptiness and darkness. Dean always woke up and just existed, he fought, ate, and slept, nothing else. No longer did Dean flirt with the waitress or bartenders, no longer did Dean make a big deal out anything. Dean had been like this ever since Castiel had been taken away by the arch-angel. Dean just didn't really care anymore. So, when, after a month, Dean had a dream again, he was confused, and scared.
"Dean." Castiel was standing under a tree, in his stupid suit and trench coat, like nothing had happened.
"Cas?" Dean stayed where he was, to afraid to move towards the angel.
Castiel smiled and started walking towards Dean. "Fear not, for I am who I appear to be."
Dean chuckled, what a Castiel thing to say.
Castiel's smile grew as he heard Dean's thoughts, he quickened his pace, just to be met halfway by Dean, who was now running towards Castiel. Castiel held out his arms as his hunter came closer. Both angel and hunter relaxed once they were wrapped in each others arms. "What the hell happened to you Cas?"
Castiel shook his head, "When we have more time. I barely enough power to stay here for much longer."
Dean pulled away, but made sure that both his hands were still on the angel. "What do you mean you can't stay much longer?"
Castiel looked up at the sky, "I am dead, no longer allowed to visit this plane as often as I wish, I had just enough power to come to you this night. Although, just for a limited time."
Dean could feel the tears forming, and he fought to keep them back. "Then, thank you. I needed to see that you were okay."
Castiel placed a hand on Dean's cheek, "So long as I know you are fine, I will be okay."
Dean turned into Castiel's palm, "When will I see you again?"
Castiel's smile turned sad as he brought his face closer to Dean's. "Once your life is complete"
"Where?" Dean couldn't think of anything else, he just wanted to make sure that Castiel wasn't in hell for going against "God's" will and helping Dean.
"We will meet again, Where the angels learn to fly."
