that new oc smell
so i really wanted a male character with short hair after seeing characters like the one on the cover of ffiv (pretty much only because of him, actually. har). ah, but u know, i can draw females with pixie cuts no problem, but i have i really difficult time making it look good on men.
actually, i hit a lot of blocks with this challenge. i had to make his eyes smaller and his build bigger than i'm used to. i also wanted him to look older than his actual age, so his face had to be mature but still cute.
but above all that i didn't want him to look like those big softie manly characters (uhg, instant turn off nothanks).
I don't feel i've accomplished that last part yet tho. i still get that feeling a little when i look at him that he would be one of those characters. bla.
