6 AM- Get up. Think about moving around and making coffee.
7:30 AM- I should be dressed by now. Should be.
7:50 AM- Leave the realitive safty and comfort of my apartment and head out to the bus stop.
7:55-8:00 AM- Try to catch a number 10 bus.
8:00-8:35 AM- Daydream on bus. Close my eyes when we get to that one turn. It's scary.
8:35ish AM- Arrive at school bus stop. Walk up a hill to get to the school. Wonder what *that* smell is. Say "Hi" to every kid I pass and smile.
8:45 AM- Arrive in class. Set up.
9:00-9:40 AM- First class
9:50- 10:30AM- Second
10:40-11:20AM- Third
11:30-12:10 PM- Fourth
12:20- 1:00PM- Lunch
1:00-1:40PM Fifth and final "offical" class of the day.
Eveyday, exccept for Tuesday, I teach an extra class after school. It has 20 kids of varying ages. My favorite studdents are Tim and Paul. Tim makes me laugh everytime I see him. He sometimes acts like a fish and "floats" around my desk. Val and Kat, I will do an impression for you when I see you...
On Wednesdays and Thursdays I teach the teachers. So far, because of scheduling, I have only taught ONE class for the teachers!
Koreans are so last minute about things. It's very frustrating! Like today, my teacher had I busted ass all day to get ready for Mr. Lee, our vice principle, to come in an observe our class. I thought my head was gonna explode! We were ripping through material very fast. At the VERY last minute...Mr. Lee cancelled. Yeah, I was a bit pissed. So, anyway...
Usually, if I don't stay late I get out at 4:40PM.
If I do stay late I get home at 8PM or so.

Highlights of today include:
6th grade. Yes, it's fun. This one kid is so tiny. He always has a huge grin on his face and he is just so cute. He asked me, "Where is teacher from?" Which if you know anything about how the Korean language is structured that is a very good question. Koreans say things backwards and eliminating "unnecessary" words. So he could of asked,"From where?" So, he's got a good thing going by using, "is."
Another kid in 6th grade. I caught him trying to look down my shirt. Yeah, it's hilarious.
Yes, I am a fascinating creature here, as you can well imagine. In my classroom I have a projector and serveral times in a class I walk in front of the light. Well, that makes a shadow on the screen that makes this one kid in 4th grade laugh really hard. It's hard not to dislike him...
Sorry I haven't updated in a while. It's freakin' busy around here. At night I like to catch a Korean movie on TV and hit the hay. Which is what I am gonna do tonight.
Love and kisses,
Melissa
