I am extremely displeased. Everyone knows the SATs, right? That little test that, nowadays, can ruin a young persons life. Or make their life much easier.
I got my scores back a few days ago.
CR: 800
M: 790
W: 620
Now, view this through a specific lense. I am Elizabeth. I have attended WHS for three years, taking honors English at a competitive high school which prides itself on its writing program. My grades in English have been excellent. The nice people at the College Board have seen fit to disagree with my high school and tell me that I can't write. So, as a result, I get to waste another Saturday on a standardized test! Not only that, but my scores in both Critical Reading and Math will almost invariably suffer.
Can you sense my enthusiasm?
