I am not normally asleep at this time. However, I am also usually not at my computer. I am reading or typing something on my AlphaSmart at 11:30 PM, but tonight is different.
Tonight? I'm typing on the keyboard of my brand spanking new computer. The boxes are still sitting beside my desk and are still cold from being outside.
By the way, last weekend. We bought a Christmas tree, I ate my Aunt Kathy's chocolate chip cookies, we watched "It's a Wonderful Life" and it snowed. Since when did December happen? Sheesh.
BACK TO THE IMPORTANT! Tomorrow, I'm going to post pictures of my third baby. Because at 16 years old, I have three children: my AlphaSmart, my bicycle, and now my computer.
Pentium D, 320 GB, nVidia Geforce video card, and more than enough memory to store my entire DVD collection if I so chose. I don't, but I could if I wished. Bow down to my computer. It is your God.
Today was spent just clearing the crap that it had already installed. Tomorrow will be installing my own crap. That means music and image files, AIM, Pal Desktop, iTunes, whatever else that I'm forgetting. On the seventh, my computer game is going to arrive and that will be the final test: does its power do all that it promises? I'm betting yes.
Is it pathetic that I want to grope my computer?
