Hope dangles on a string like slow spinning redemption...

It's the 27th. wow.

Day of Silence yesterday was indescribably amazing. It was an experience to see the world from a silent perspective-and the fact that every person in my classes noticed the fact that I was silent.

The ripple effect that every person in the school noticed our silence was amazing-all the driving around and money spent to make the shirts and to do it all was so worth it. I am glad that we were visible. I was lucky enough to meet no jerks, but for every bad story there were ten people who asked to see my card and smiled. And every one of my friends is amazing for participating or just being supportive-this really meant so much to me. Every gay person and not gay person and so many of my friends just all doing this thing together. I just hope next year it continues, and grows in number.

Today-I missed my alarm, and my mother was nice enough to see that I was disgustingly tired, so I was granted a day off, as I have only missed like 3 days of school. It was much needed-I actually got through quite a bit of the AP Psychology book.

Making CD’s now, and downloading-I apparently have a new obsession with bands that sound nothing like Christian rock but are apparently quite Christian. I am confused how one can be “Christian” rock with no mentions of God or Jesus, but apparently I am clearly mistaken, at least according to the reviews on Amazon.com. Whatever, the lyrics are amazing and the music is awesome, so no biggie.
As much as I am not Christian, I am cool with the concept of Jesus tho, as if he was around now he would be a total hippie who would be like bff’s with every sort of person who the conservative right hates. Like he would have done Day of Silence. It is funny, actually.

Ghetto mix will hopefully be done tonight! Also-does anyone want to see the movie “Stick It” sometime this weekend? I am really quite stoked for it.
