Just Killin Time...
Well, Im board as hell at 3am on a Tuesday night. It's not the next day, because I haven't been to sleep yet...lol
Anyway, I want to put over a few movies I saw in the past week. 1st is Napolean Dynamite. I 1st heard of this movie from HWA star JT Stahr...then my buddy the SiKness didnt nothing but rant and rave about how great it is. So I decided to go over to SiK's place and watch it. All I have to say, is that JT and SiK could not have been more RIGHT. This movie has already taken a spot on my "Favorite Movies of All Time" list. I highly recomend any and EVERYONE reading this to go out RIGHT NOW and either rent or buy the DVD (if you dont have a DVD player...then I dont know what to tell you, other than get out of the stone age and get with the times). This movie is great!
Next, was Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story. This movie was also pretty good, not as good as Napolean Dynamite...but I dont think much is. But this movie was pretty funny, I love Ben Stiller and I love Vince Vaughn...so it it turned out to be good. I recomend renting it, but not before Napolean Dynamite!
Next, I want to put over a worker. Any Ring of Honor fan would know him. Jimmy Jacobs. I had the pleasure of meeting Jimmy Jacobs on the 1st of the year at an EWF show...really good guy. Now anyone who knows me, knows I'm not an ROH fan. I am more into the entertainment aspect of wrestling than I am the sport side of it. Just how I grew up I guess. Well anyway, that being said I'm not really an ROH fan, they have great workers don't get me wrong, probably the best, its just not my style I guess. Anyway, I met Jimmy, he was a really good guy, only problem was I knew nothing about him or his work. Well I saw him that night work my friend Indy Kid, and I liked the match, and Jimmy is one hell of a worker.
Well, a couple weeks after that show, tonight actually, I hit up Jimmy's site from a link on Jeff Kings. It site looked nice, and I decided to check out his Live Journal.
Man, was I blown away. Jimmy Jacobs is one of the funniest guys in the world, I read almost his complete journal and laughed at nearly every one. This guy is great. I highly suggest anyone reading this to head on over to Jimmy's Live Journal by CLICKING HERE
Call me a Jimmy Jacobs mark all you want, because damn it, it's true. Hope to see ya on the road at another show Jimmy.
Well I dont really have much else to say, maybe Ill get bored again and write some more tonight, but for now.... I will leave you with these words of wisdom, mainly because I find myself doing this ALL THE TIME.....
