Well, I havent updated in a while, but at least this time...Ive got a little bit of some substance!
Saturday, took a nice (and long) trip to Greenville, IL. The Tri-State Triple Threat joined our trainer, Shark Boy on this trip. We had a good 5 hour car ride up to the school we were working at. Well if I said the trip was anything less than great, I would be lieing. We got to hear some great stories from a man whos been all over the world, and needless to say, they made the trip seem not as long as it really was.
Also on a side note...Frankie Kazarian is definitly the coolest. Keep collecting those checks brother. (The people in the car know what Im talkin about). Oh, and Frankie...I wont work ya in a trampoline match...but I'm game for a trunk match! (That line is gold!)
Anyway...with a bunch of BS that went on through out the show, a few things did go pretty damn well. The crowd was pretty nice if I do say so myself, over 300 I think. Well I had the pleasure of sharing a locker room with one of the guys who put professional wrestling on the map, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka! It was a pleaser talking and hanging out with a true legend. Also along with Snuka, was my opponent for the night...the Birdman himself...Koko F'N B Ware! Koko is a true legend and a stand up guy. Now Im know Im breaking kayfabe bigger than shit here...but I guess that's what Live Journals are for anyway. The promoter set for me to put Koko over, which I gladly would have done with a huge smile on my face. Well, Koko had different ideas, and Koko, being the stand up guy that he is, made sure my hand was raised at the end of the night, and for that, I thank you Koko...and I'll see ya again.
I would tell you how the match went, but then why would you buy the DVD? (lol)
Anyway, I got to wrestle a true legend that night, and it was a definit highlight of not just my career...but my life.
The car ride home was pretty fun, except for the point at like 4 am when everyone in the car was getting so tired that we couldnt see straight. Reguardless of that fact we made it home. We ate some good food on the road, and we heard and told some great stories. This was definitly a trip for the books.
Anywho...
Im watching the Wrestle Mania 21 DVD so Im gonna hop off here...but Ill do the Star Moments.
