My second post from Montreal
"apetit dejuener...?
Man, I don’t think I am going to want this vacation to end. My muscles are burning from biking but I’ve stopped minding. It feels good to get away from my laziness. We made a super delicious mac and cheese casserole last night, I was pretty proud of how it turned out. We watched “Survive Style 5” and it blew my friggin’ mind, I highly recommend it. I’ve figured out the keyboards here, they actually aren’t that complicated. I am more comfortable on the roads and with going fast(ish). I have embraced my outsider-ness. I saw the Habitat 67 apartments yesterday and they were so incredible, I’ve never seen something that cool in person. I also saw the Biosphere which is HUGE and looks like the Epcot globe, but way cooler. I got a Blank Dogs record and I am so excited to listen to it. There are so many record stores in the plateau, but they all carry the same things - barely any indie, shitloads of punk and oi type stuff, and a little bit of metal. And lots of old vinyl of course. It is a whole other world up here, I swear. I really didn’t expect it to be that different.
