It's The Thought That Counts.

So, I will start to post some personal entries here on my blog since I miss blogging.
Since, I started to like Kpop I've forgotten about blogging on my xanga. So, I decided to have a new one.
An All Kpop stuffs blog. Aissh. Random Blurbs.

So, today was my dad's birthday, he's turning 51, he is 51 already.
And my gift was a simple handmade card, which I made last night, when all of them in the house are asleep.
But, when I saw others giving my dad expensive gifts, I felt my gift was just nothing.

Suddenly, I remember that it's the thought that counts when you're giving the gift.

I had a dedication written inside the card and it says:

Dad,
Every year, your birthday reminds me
how grateful I am that you are my father.
With all that’s going on in the world today,
I’m thankful I get to watch you,
to look up to you, being an example of a good man.
What a privilege it is to observe your strength,
your competence, and your kindness.
I am so blessed to be under your wing,
your protection, your care,
learning important life lessons from you.
If all fathers were like you,
the world would be a very different
and much better place.
Happy Birthday, Dad,
from your admiring daughter.

Is it better than an expensive gift?
