I have had an incredible couple of weeks, and they are continuing.
First, Mother's Day went really well. We surprized my mom by taking her to the Georgia Aquarium for Mother's Day brunch. The brunch was held in the ballroom, which has private viewing windows of the belugas and whale sharks. The buffet itself was Wolfgang Puck food, and they even had chocolate fountains for dessert. She cried, she was so touched. It was great.
Then, the countdown to the end of school is down to single digits (5 more days!!!). That is always a super exciting moment for teachers and students. We have field day coming up. The yearbooks are in. I'm cleaning up my room and clearing my walls. Yay!
Then, I saw Wicked yesterday (one of Sissa's favs!). It was so spectacular! I really loved it. It connects to the Wizard of Oz in such a smart way, I was really impressed. I went with my parents (it was my gift to them for their wedding anniversary). And of course, it reminded us of Disney in so many ways. For example, there is a large mechanical dragon that looms over the set. Large mechanical dragon? Fantasmic? HEELLLOOO!!!!!
That night, Dave calls me. Not only do I find out that he's coming to visit me next weekend, but he also helped me book my WDW vacation this summer. How wonderful!
