Despite all the frustrations, there are just some moments that make teaching so worthwhile. We are in the middle of a geometry unit right now, and our main focus is vocabulary (rhombus, quadrilateral, equilateral triangle, etc.). On one of our classwork assignments, there was a question that asked what we call a 6 sided figure. One of my students, as proud as can be, raised his hand to share what he thought was the correct answer. "A sexagon!" ::rolls on the floor::
