1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
Asked for a raise. Went to Maui. Snorkeled. Saw a burlesque show. Installed things in my computer case without a boy.
2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
- I
made more resolutions this year than ever before; I usually don’t bother because I suck at keeping promises to myself.
- Find a decent therapist. Well, I have one…I think she’ll do.
- Figure out how to sneak more exercise into my daily schedule. Fuck.
- More backpacking. Whoops.
- Get my ear repierced.
Done yay!
- Learn how to knit continental style. I can knit Continental now. I cannot purl Continental. This is semi-useful as I hate purling anyway and like patterns where I can avoid it.

No one I know IRL.

No.

Just this one.
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you didn't have in 2007?
Direction, Sanity and Motivation.
Last year I said “A savings account with actual money in it...a therapist...a computer that will run Neverwinter Nights 2...less credit card debt.” And I have all of these.
7. What date(s) from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
All of Maui and my dad being sick.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Not killing myself, not becoming an alcoholic, somehow managing to stay employed, and paying off 1/3 of my credit card.

I don't do big failures. I do millions of tiny failures.

My traditional quantities of headaches.

My bed is pretty awesome. Also, a lot of computer parts.

I turned 26. I went to REI and bought bike gloves and went out for sushi with Marissa.

If I was capable of being social and not fucking up. Or if I hadn’t been dumb and decided to quit taking meds.

- Make life stop sucking THEN quit taking your meds, not the other way around.

Working for the Man in the eternally exciting field of asset management.

Not for myself.

Car insurance.

Asked for a raise. And got it, mostly.

Every mildly annoying, obnoxious, less-than-nice or less-than-brilliant thing I’ve said or done in any social interaction.
And not taking my meds and making everyone deal with me.

World peace of course. Some clothes that make me look less than awful. A new brain.
Other than that…I mean I’d like a 360 and Rock Band but then I’d have to leave my room to play it, so fuck that, and it’s awfully expensive.

A plant and a Roomba.

Lindsey Lohan passed out in her car. Mostly because my co-worker has been using it as a Messenger icon.
