days of laughter, peace and disappointment...
It's 1:42am right now... wanted to blog some happy events before starting on the mundane assgt 2 for buying principles module. Was at the new city square mall having lunch, window shopping and checking out pretty lingerie at big discounts! Spent about 5hrs at T's house trying to fill in all the information that we gathered from our chosen retail store for the assgt. It's WEIRD that the sales staff considered her staffs' working shifts, working hours and number of staffs per weekday/ weekend to be HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL. Hello, if you ain't aware (to the sales staff), though your label is international, that doesn't mean much when your products are not anything near pretty. No one will copy your designs or concept, for g's sake. Most are so AUNT-ish, fyi. Sigh.
*munchinggg on the slices of crunchy salty seaweeds to keep me awake! LOL love them to bits, haven't had them for ages and glad to have found them at a supermarket today!

Wednesday was good, got to meet up with my bunch of dearies for some catching up and they were nice enough to accompany for dinner ('cos I ended work pretty late...) at Soup Spoon. Strangely, my bowl of Tomato Tangy Basil soup tasted SPICY + sour. What a combi?! We had quite a bit of fun camwhoring with Jun's new camera phone. It was funny 'cos we played with the camera function of his mobile as though we had never seen sucha technology. The camera was supposedly able to AF and detect the anti-shake the focused moving object but our images turned out pretty much blurry eh. What had gone wrong? Don't care luh, the images were humorous~ Reminding me of the days when we kept taking pictures and laughing at them... *nostalgic*
After the catching up, everyone left for home and YQ was nice to have accompanied me to Orch for a while as Clara could only meet later. Come to think of it, a half an hr company was a good update of his current life. Everyone's schedule has seemed to differ recently, so we will never know when our free times will be the same like Wed anymore. So even the next week, they ain't free to meet, I'm rather certain that they are coping well and keeping up with their lifestyles.
Clubbing at Zouk was pretty boring 'cos the music was not even mediocre standard. What's up with the DJ man? So stingy to play nice nice songs!!! He played a few seconds for the latest tracks (that I feel the crowd would prefer to dance with) and he played long minutes for the older (like 3-5 yrs AGO LOR) hip hop tracks that seriously pissed many. Clara had her friends/ ex-colleagues from her previous workplace to club together, honestly i never like the idea of clubbing with friends' friends unless i know them personally. But I thought as least they seemed nice to club with. Haha since it has been a while Clara and I last clubbed together at Zouk, we totally forgot about Zouk not offering free drinks anymore. Argh. No wonder now everyone's talking about Butter Factory, I supposed? We ordered a bottle of Heineken and Vodka Redbull, then came 2 of each! OMG we had so much to gulp can! We didn't know there was one-for-one for any drinks you ordered that night. Whateva la.
We literally hopped around the clubs to dance the night away. Bleah, we tried dancing or following the classiccc mambo moves but we still didn't FEEEEEEL it. SIIIGGGGGHHH. Anyway after all that dancing, it was pretty fun 'cos we really got ourselves into the whole dancing shit. Definitely sweat it out that night! After that shakinggg, we went for MAC's breaky!!! OMGGGGG our carbos were added back to the shed ones. HAHAHAHA.

Slept at 8.00am and woke up at 5.30pm!!! WG brought forward our dinner appt and as usual, thinking that being punctual so no big deal, taking my own sweet time to doll up so all I did and in the end, he changing the meeting time was no diff. HAHAHA. WG, JL and I had so much to update each other about our lives. So envious of JL, she was already earning big bucks every month to pay off her 30K school fees all on her own?! That's freaking impressive, I couldn't earn that much to pay of mine. Utterly embarassing.
On the other hand, it was sucha pleasant surprise to learn that WG is not as rebellious as he was in poly and now that he is trying to accept and understand his work and life better. Good for him! Half the time WG and I were debating about our stands in some issues like finding a good job, the new mac-&-monopoly game contest (which he is raving about) and etc! Seriously he would always try to share with his viewpoints with me which at most times, I appreciate but I do have some reservations? LOL. anyway, I did learn some stuff from him, which was a good thing 'cos we can never know or learn enough. Right? I had so much beer (i think) that at some point I was already blabberingggg and it was amazing how the car could reach home in one piece unharmed. HEHEHE.
OOOOOOPPPPS, 2.36am liaoooooo! Hope at least 90% of the assgt is organised in 0.5hr time!
***BTW, WANG LEE HOM came to SG to sing some songs at ION ORCHARD on FRIDAY lehhhhh. What the hell! I'm so dying to see him luh! Does he have FB? I will CERTAINLY add and tagggg him every single minute manz~
