Academic malaise

Ugh. I've got the full-length first draft of a 12 page term paper due tomorrow morning that I haven't started yet, and I am NOT feeling it. It's supposed to be a comparative essay dealing with issues of class, gender, occupation, and family structure in Elizabeth Gaskell's "Mary Barton" and Emile Zola's "The Ladies' Paradise." The problem is not with the analysis. The problem is that I don't give a motherfuck about either of these utterly dull books. *sigh*

Normally, I could pull a twelve page paper out of my ass with no problem. But I'm having real trouble getting my shit together today. Graargh.
